Clear the history

When you surf the Internet, the sites you visit are logged in the History section. In order to remove all traces of your visit to our site, just follow the instructions below:

Procedure for clearing navigation history

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.x for Windows

  1. Tools Menu
  2. Select “Internet Options”
  3. Under the “General” tab
  4. Click “Clear History”

Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 for Windows

  1. Tools Menu
  2. Select “Clear Navigation History”
  3. Click “Clear All”

Microsoft Internet Explorer 8.0 and + for Windows

  1. Tools Menu
  2. Select “Clear Navigation History”
  3. Check “History”
  4. Click “Clear”

Google Chrome

  1. In the dropdown menu to the right of the search field, select the “History” option
  2. Click “Clear Browsing Data”
  3. Check all available boxes
  4. Select the period for which you want to clear the data
  5. Tap “Clear Browsing Data”
  6. Close your browser

Mozilla Firefox 1.5

  1. Tools Menu
  2. Select “Clear Cookies”
  3. Click “Clear Cookies Now”

Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and higher

  1. Tools Menu
  2. Select “Clear Recent History”
  3. Check “Navigation and Download History”
  4. Check “Forms and History Searches”
  5. Click “Delete Now”

Safari 1.3.2 and higher

  1. History Menu
  2. Click “Clear History”

Safari pour iPhone

  1. Open “Settings”. From your home screen (default location), select the icon with grey gears to open the settings command panel.
  2. Look for “Safari”. In the “Settings” command panel, look for “Safari”. It will be located below all other installed applications. When you find it, tap the button to open Safari’s control panel.
  3. Find the “Clear History” button. In Safari’s control panel, navigate down to the “Security” section and find the “Clear History” button then tap it.
  4. Accept the confirmation prompt. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to clear the history. Press on the Clear History button to delete your navigation history.


This will only delete the websites you visited and will leave the rest intact.

Google Chrome for iPhone

  1. Launch Google Chrome.
  2. Open the “Settings” menu. Click on the Chrome menu in the upper right-hand corner: it looks like 3 horizontal lines. Find the “Settings” menu at the bottom of the list and tap it to open the settings control panel.
  3. Tap on “Privacy”. In the “Settings” menu, find the privacy option and tap it to open the privacy control panel.
  4. Clear the navigation history. It is located at the top of the page in the navigation data deletion section.
  5. You will be asked to confirm that you wish to clear the history. In the confirmation dialogue box, tap « Delete Navigation History” This will delete your entire Google Chrome navigation history.

Built-in Android browser

  1. Open the Internet browser and tap the menu button in the upper right-hand corner of the screen
  2. Tap “Settings”, then tap “Privacy and Security”. On this page, select “Clear history deletes the list of visited sites”
  3. Tap “OK” to confirm

Chrome for Android

  1. Tap the Google Chrome menu then “Settings”
  2. Tap on “Privacy (Advanced)”
  3. Tap “Delete browsing data”

Use private navigation windows

Google Chrome

  1. Open a Chrome window
  2. Click the Chrome menu in the upper right corner of your navigation window
  3. Select “New Private Browsing Window”


Tip: You can also use a keyboard shortcut by pressing Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows, Linux and Chrome OS) or ⌘+Shift+N (Mac) to open a private browser window

Internet Explorer 9

  1. Click the gear icon, located at the upper right of your browser
  2. In the pop-up menu, select “Security”
  3. In the field, enter “InPrivate Navigation”


Tip: You can also use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + P

Firefox

  1. Click the menu button at the upper right of your browser
  2. In the menu that opens, select the “Private Window” button

Safari

  1. Choose the File tab
  2. In the menu that opens, select “New private window”
