La Source is a home that helps and shelters abused women or those who are experiencing difficult circumstances, with or without children. We have been in operation for over thirty-six years. Our shelter offers free services 24 hours a day, 365 days per year. The organization offers activities that aim to improve personal autonomy and empower the women and children we shelter.
Maison La Source participates in several forums for dialogue and collaborates regularly with various organizations, establishments and services. Maison La Source can rely on a team of seasoned facilitators (22), an executive director, an executive assistant and support personnel: a cook, janitor and housekeeping attendant.
The board of directors consists of members from our community and of women who have used our services.
